Interchanges

Every Ohio Turnpike exit, west to east

25 mainline interchanges, mile markers, the cities they serve, and the connecting highways. Numbers match mile markers, so distance between exits is a simple subtraction.

Quick answer: 25 mainline interchanges, Exit 2 (PA border) through Exit 239 (IN border). Each exit number equals its mile marker, so Exit 71 to Exit 218 is 147 miles.

About the numbering

Through the late 1990s the Ohio Turnpike used sequential exit numbers (Exit 1, 2, 3, ... 18) counting from the Indiana border. Between 1998 and 2002 the system was renumbered to match mile markers along I-80 and I-90. Old signs are gone; today, exit number equals approximate mile marker, which makes calculating distance between any two exits a one-step subtraction.
