14 service plazas, 7 pairs
Ohio Turnpike service plazas
Seven twin-plaza locations, one plaza per direction, spaced along the 241-mile mainline from West Unity (milepost 20.8) to New Springfield (milepost 237.2). Every plaza operates 24 hours a day, every day of the year, with fuel.
Quick answer: All 14 plazas are open 24 hours, every day of the year. You do not break your toll ticket entering or leaving a plaza. EV charging is available at four of the seven pairs: mileposts 20.8, 76.9, 170.1, 237.2.
Always open
24/7/365, including holidays, per the Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission's plaza directory. Food-counter staffing varies overnight; fuel and restrooms stay open.
No toll to stop

Planning stops by trip
Full crossing
For the 241-mile end-to-end drive, one fuel stop near the middle works for most vehicles. The Clyde pair (Commodore Perry / Erie Islands, MP 100) and the Amherst pair (Vermilion Valley / Middle Ridge, MP 139.5) bracket the midpoint.
EV trips
The four charging pairs sit at MP 20.8, 76.9, 170.1 and 237.2. The longest gap between charging plazas is the 93 miles between Genoa and Broadview Heights; plan around it in winter.
Cleveland to Toledo
Four pairs serve the Exit 173 to Exit 64 run: Broadview Heights (MP 170.1), Amherst (MP 139.5), Clyde (MP 100) and Genoa (MP 76.9). See the route guide.
Eastern stretch
Between the Akron interchange (Exit 180) and the Pennsylvania line, the choices are Mantua (Brady's Leap / Portage, MP 197) and New Springfield (Glacier Hills / Mahoning Valley, MP 237.2).
